Restaurant General Overview: 

• At Roots Education, we offer a comprehensive, paid meal service providing young students with nutritious and kid-friendly options by our culinary team to meet the nutritional needs of growing children. 
• Prioritizing fresh, high-quality ingredients and strict hygiene and food safety standards, our service not only satisfies hunger but also promotes healthy eating habits, energizes students for learning and play, and cultivates a positive, supervised mealtime experience. 

Restaurant Food & Beverage Outline:

• Breakfast

1. Sunday =  Cake + Milk
2. Monday = Omelet Sandwich + Milk
3. Tuesday = White Cheese + Halawa or Jam Sandwich + Milk
4. Wednesday = Omelet Sandwich + Milk
5. Thursday = White Cheese + Halawa or Jam Sandwich + Milk

• Lunch

1. Sunday = Rice + Molokhia + Chicken + Salad
2. Monday = Koshary + Salad
3. Tuesday = Potatoes + Red Sauce, Rice, Chicken + Salad
4. Wednesday = Rice + Peas & Carrot + Minced Meat + Salad
5. Thursday = Pasta + Red Sauce + Minced Meat or Pasta + White Sauce + Chicken + Salad

•  Snack

1. Sunday: Fruit or Seasonal Fresh Juice
2. Monday: Jelly or Cereal
3. Tuesday: Fruit or Seasonal Fresh Juice
4. Wednesday: Pancakes + Honey
5. Thursday: Basbousa or  Popcorn

Cheeky Monkey Restaurant Policy:

• Parents must submit a participation form to the school.
• Student participation is limited to early years students (FS1, FS2, KG1 & Pre-School)
• Students with any food allergy are not eligible for the service.
• Students must consume all food on school premises; leftovers are not permitted to be taken home.
• This policy may be revised as technologies and school needs evolve. Users will be notified of updates and are responsible for reviewing changes. 

Restaurant Fees:

• Service is free of charge for KG1 & Pre-school.
• 1 month = 1,750 LE
• 3 months = 4,500 LE

Restaurant Payment Policy:

• Payment made in advance
• Service is only available to students who complete the school tuition fees at its due time. 
• Financial Transactions take 2 business days to process. Therefore, in the case a payment has been made, it will take 2 business days for the department to be updated. 
• Payment must be submitted on (https://rootsschools.education/payments)
